National Service in Montana
National Service truly makes a difference in Montana but understanding how it works can be confusing. National Service programs include AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps VISTA, and Senior Corps. AmeriCorps members serve through 12 different programs under three different umbrellas- AmeriCorps State, AmeriCorps National, and AmeriCorps NCCC. AmeriCorps VISTAs serve through one of five VISTA projects. Senior Corps’ three programs are RSVP, Foster Grandparents, and Senior Companions. All National Service programs are funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service.
