1. Here is the link to the final version of the survey that Susie Burch at Flathead Valley Community College developed. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/9SBBQDR This version incorporates suggestions received from the reviewers.
As you recall, Susie Burch, Ken Mesh and several others have been working on developing a training program for emergency managers across the state. The first part of this program is a professional accreditation for existing emergency managers. The second part of the program would be a 2-year degreed program for those hoping to enter the field of emergency management or even existing emergency managers who wanted to have the degree. At this point, we are interested in getting the accreditation program off the ground.
The purpose of this survey is to help determine the level of interest in a professional accreditation program in Montana for emergency managers and related jobs. The survey also asks for input regarding what should be taught and how often training should be offered. The individuals in the reviewer group who took the survey needed less than 10 minutes to complete the survey.
Could you please distribute this link to the survey on the MADESC list serv. Thanks for all your help with this.
