MLK Day of Service Open Conference Call
MLK Day Conference Call- Share your plans and find service opportunities!

This call is open to anyone involved with National Service and volunteering in Montana including AmeriCorps members, program staff, Senior Corps directors, host sites, and campuses. The purpose of this call is to share MLK Day plans and to find collaboration opportunities. The Governor’s Office of Community Service will use the information shared to help network opportunities and to spread the word to the public and the media.
If possible, please RSVP by sending your name, program, email and phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will use this info to send out an update after the call. If you cannot join the call, but would like to share your plans, please add your project to the spreadsheet of planned events. MLK Day Funding Available from Montana Campus Compact
Montana Campus Compact (MTCC) is offering 2 - $1000 awards and 5 - $500 awards to support Martin Luther King Day projects, which align with the National Day of Service on January 19, 2015. Projects will have the twin focus of MTCC's Read for Peace initiative, and educating communities about preparation for natural disasters and home fires. This one-time only funding is available for affiliates of MTCC in good standing. Interested parties are encouraged to submit the Funding Request Form on behalf of their host institution.
