Harold Baldwin Recognized as Volunteer of the Game

HELENA, MT- The Governor’s Office of Community Service will recognize Harold Baldwin as the “Volunteer of the Game” during Saturday’s Grizzly home season opener game.

Who: Harold “Butch” Baldwin

What: Volunteer of the Game

When: Saturday, August 31, 2013, game starts at 7:00PM, presentation will be at half-time.

Where: Washington-Grizzly Stadium, Missoula

HELENA, MT- The Governor’s Office of Community Service will recognize Harold “Butch” Baldwin as the “Volunteer of the Game” during Saturday’s Griz home football game.

Harold “Butch” Baldwin is being recognized for his dedication and service to the Missoula community. Butch is a dedicated volunteer with the Missoula Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). As a Vietnam veteran, Butch dedicates countless hours as the Veteran Liaison on the RSVP task force and volunteers at the annual Missoula Veterans Stand Down. Just a few of his other activities include delivering gift packages for meals and wheels recipients, building emergency supply kits for those with special needs, organizing clothing drives for Montana for soldiers, and more! This everyday hero truly harnesses the volunteer spirit and energy of giving.

The Governor’s Office of Community Service is recognizing community volunteers at home games throughout the 2013 Griz football season.

The Governor’s Office of Community Service expands and promotes national service and volunteerism in Montana and engages citizens in service and emergency preparedness.
