Global Youth Service Day

Global Youth Service Day
April 11-13, 2014
Join the longest running service event in the world!

The Governor’s Office of Community Service is pleased to support Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) as Lead Agency with generous funding from Youth Service America and State Farm. GYSD is annual campaign that mobilizes millions of children and youth to improve their communities through service and service-learning. Our goal in Montana is to include as many youth as possible and help them build a strong foundation of getting involved and giving back.

Mini-grants of $150 were given to 15 organizations, schools, nonprofits, service clubs, youth and youth groups to coordinate and implement service projects that engage young Montanans in service to their communities. Mini-grants will support Montana youth in local service projects during the GYSD weekend in April.
