George Tipp Recognized as Volunteer of the Game

HELENA, MT- The Governor’s Office of Community Service will recognize George Tipp of Missoula as the “Volunteer of the Game” during Saturday’s Grizzly home game.

HELENA, MT- The Governor’s Office of Community Service will recognize George Tipp as the “Volunteer of the Game” during Saturday’s Griz home football game.
 
George Tipp is being recognized for his volunteer efforts as a Volunteer Income Assistance Tax (VITA) preparer in the Missoula community. As an Internal Revenue Service certified VITA volunteer, George volunteers countless hours every tax season to provide free basic preparation and quality review services for low to moderate income area residents. He has provided these important services for over one decade at AARP and most recently at Montana Credit Unions for Community Development VITA sites. The Governor’s Office of Community Service is recognizing community volunteers at home games throughout the 2013 Griz football season.
