Good News! As of December 16, 2010, eligible members may transfer the Segal Education Award to a child, grandchild or foster child using the My AmeriCorps Portal. You will find FAQs on this and other provisions of the recent Trust rulemaking attached to this message, as well as the letter that will be sent to eligible members notifying them that they may transfer the award. If you have questions, please contact the National Service Hotline at 1-800-942-2677 or you can email epayments@americorps.gov. The Hotline is staffed by customer service representatives from 8:00-8:00 EST.
