Sponsored by the Governor's Office of Community Service, the 9th annual ServeMontana Symposium brought together over 270 AmeriCorps State and AmeriCorps VISTA members and staff from across the state to further opportunities for service and collaboration.

The theme “National Service in Montana: It Starts With You!” emphasized the skills, information-sharing, and training needed to ensure that AmeriCorps members can best serve their communities, whether at the start of their service term or as they near the end and seek future opportunities. This year's Symposium featured keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and a regional networking event.

Another highlight was the 4th Annual Doorsteps to Kid Packs citywide food drive, which collected food and donations benefiting Helena Food Share's Kid Packs program. This year, we collected over 10,078 pounds of food and over $25,000 dollars to help feed Helena-area kids. Thank you!
